Quick Review: Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation

*This post was made prior to be becoming vegan*
I didn't like it... At all!
I see some good points but I don't think I'll try this foundation again.
I tried the sample from Sephora in Light Beige

List of Products Used in Order:
-Too Faced Hanger Over Primer
-Hourglass Immaculate Foundation

Application Method:
-sponge, working in sections with very little doses each time
-second layer for areas needing more coverage
-absolutely do not recommend with fingers

Finish and Feel:
-Once it is blended and dry, the colour of liquid and dry foundation is different (became darker and orange)
-locations where there is more pigment are much more noticeable and if not blended quickly and properly there are noticeable marks
-extremely lightweight, matte
-felt like pushing pigment around my face which was difficult to blend

Wear over time:
-I couldn't bare the look of patchy-ness, colour match and the scent so I took off the foundation once it set
-I do think it would be a long wear as it was matte and highly pigmented

Other notes:
-scent is noticeable, ingredient of scent is lavender

Light Beige colour match was terrible...
I don't understand why it's labelled "Light", it's definitely not meant for light skin. I have a bit of a tan yet it's way too dark for me. It was way too orange.
(On Sephora Light Beige is described as Medium with yellow undertones, shouldn't it be called Medium Beige?)
There are yellow pigments in it but the orange/beige over powers it. I can even see it being slightly reddish too.... I don't think it will work on natural skin tones, perhaps if you were tanned and slightly reddened by the sun it would work...

Overall... If I want to try this again I would need an exact match. Also, I really disliked the scent so I won't even bother (Personal preference, I dislike lavender).

Quick Review: Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation

*This post was made prior to be becoming vegan, despite that, this product is indeed vegan!*
I got a sample from a purchase from Sephora in Light 48.
This review will be sort of like a future reference for me.

List of Products Used in Order:
-Too Faced Hanger Over Primer
-Lock It Tattoo Foundation
-Besame Vanilla Powder

Application Method:
-dry sponge, working in sections with very little doses each time
-second layer for areas needing more coverage

Finish and Feel:
-Traditional foundation thickness
-not as heavy as the Tarte clay foundation
-Matte, not too drying
-not overly flat
-obvious that there is foundation on

Wear over time:
-still looks good after 8hrs, some fading but not patchy
-will crease very slightly but creasing wears off
-transfer resistance
-stayed well even through slight sweating

Other notes:
-scent is very light, almost none existent

Light 48 colour match is beige toned... light enough
-still need more yellow foundation for my personal skin tone

Overall I would consider it if I wanted to purchase a long wear foundation. However, since there are many long wear foundations out on the market I wouldn't purchase unless this line had the perfect match for me.
